Health System Medical Staff:

Michael Luce, MD has served the citizens of Columbia County and surrounding areas since 1980, with an emphasis on long-term comprehensive personal primary care. Board Certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Luce also serves as Chief of Staff for Dayton General Hospital.
  Heidi Shields, MD returned to Columbia County in September 2007 to join the staff of the Columbia Family Clinic. Raised in this area and a graduate of Washington State University, Dr. Shields completed her residency in Indiana, and established practices in Maine and then Idaho prior to her return.

Andrew Park, MD is a board certified, Family Practice Physician. Dr. Park attended college at Loma Linda University, and received his MD from Yonsei University, College of Medicine, in Seoul South Korea. Dr. Park has practiced as a Family Practice Doctor in California since 1991. His experience includes: Family Practice, Medical Director, Urgent Care MD, and working as a Hospitalist.

Kyle Terry, MD is a well‐experienced family practice physician who has owned and operated his own practice for the past 23 years in Delano, California. Delano is a small farming area located close to Bakersfield, California. He is a graduate of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah.
  Dawn Meicher, ARNP spent 15 years in Intensive Care Nursing in Colorado. She received her Masters in Nursing and her American Academy Nurse Practitioner certification in 2006. Dawn joined the Waitsburg Clinic in March of 2006 as a primary health care provider.

Kim Emery, PA-C joined the staff at Columbia Family Clinic in July of 2012. Coming to us from the crowded, rainy outskirts of Seattle, Kim is excited to be a part of our community. Kim started as a laboratory medical technologist in Memphis Tennessee and later worked in Bremerton Washington. Kim attended Physician Assistant school at the University of Washington, MEDEX program, and graduated in 1998. She has spent the last 13 years working as a Family Practice PA in the University of Washington Neighborhood Clinics. She believes that good patient health is achieved through a partnership with her patients. 

 

Kortney Killgore-Smith, ARNP is a Family Nurse Practitioner that joined our staff in October of 2012. Kortney will be providing primary health care at the Waitsburg Clinic and Emergency Medical Services at Dayton General Hospital's ER. Kortney was born in White Bird, Idaho and has been working and living in the nearby Lewiston-Clarkston area as an Emergency Department, RN turned Nurse Practitioner. Kortney received her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Idaho State University and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Kortney recently married a local farmer and relocated to the Waitsburg area. She enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, and many other outdoor recreational activities. Kortney is now accepting new patients and is excited to provide patient focused medical care in the Waitsburg Clinic and Dayton's ER.
